It's OFFICIAL - ROW 16 Here We Come!

Today was quiet an exciting day for Room 13. We recieved our official letter today from Carol Ann McGurie saying we had been selected to participate in ROW 16. Check out our letter below and keep watching this space for up to date information on ROW.

Hello Rockers!!!
Welcome to the ROW16 International Team!

First thing- please do not respond to this email- instead I would love for you to introduce yourselves, school and locations on our Facebook Page!  www.facebook.com/rockourworld1

Take some time to connect with one another on Facebook!  We have schools from all over the United States, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, and Tasmania!  (We are still waiting to hear back from two teachers- one in India, and one in Africa to finish out our team!)

I will be sending you all more information on this season through Facebook and Edmodo.  Please make sure you are signed up for both areas.  Edmodo will be the main place I communicate with students, answering questions, etc. It is also where I will put files, downloads, etc.  Facebook is where most of your announcements will be found.  This is where we will meet each other and introduce ourselves to the rest of the international team!

Make sure you have iLife 11' loaded and ready to use by march 7th.

A special GarageBand group will be formed that will focus specifically on different genres of music.  If you are interested in this special group, please let me know.  GarageBand loops will be looked at more carefully in this group, as well as different styles of music.

Please let me know if you have any questions!  If you think you have a question that would benefit the entire team, please ask it on Facebook!

  Rock On!
  Carol Anne

Congratulations on being selected for ROW16 - this is a fantastic opportunity for you and your students to be involved in something incredibly worthwhile and to do huge amount of interaction with students around the world. We will follow your progress closely in Hamilton, and with a bit of jealousy too.
